Antarctica New Zealand
Antarctica New Zealand is responsible for developing, managing and administering New Zealand's activities in Antarctica and the Southern Ocean, particularly the Ross Sea region. In addition to supporting scientific research through logistics planning and scholarships, Antarctica New Zealand runs arts, media and education programmes. Antarctica New Zealand is also responsible for the year-round management of Scott Base, one of the first bases to be established in Antarctica.

Arctic Institute of North America (AINA)
Created by an Act of Parliament in 1945, the Arctic Institute of North America is a non-profit membership organization and a multi-disciplinary research Institute of the University of Calgary. The Institute's mandate is to advance the study of the North American and circumpolar Arctic through the natural and social sciences, the arts and humanities and to acquire, preserve and disseminate information on physical, environmental and social conditions in the North.

The role of AMAP is to advise the governments of Arctic countries on threats to the Arctic region from pollution and associated issues. Reports aimed at the general public are available for download, as well as scientific ones. Videos, maps and graphic are also made accessible.
