The Antarctic Climate and Ecosystems Cooperative Research Centre (ACE CRC) provides a focus for Australia's national effort to understand the variability of Antarctica and the Southern Ocean and their role in Australia's future. The ACE CRC is a partnership dedicated to sustainable management of Antarctic marine ecosystem resources and the study of atmospheric and oceanic processes of the Southern Ocean and their role in global and regional climate change.

Antarctic Treaty Secretariat
The Antarctic Treaty Secretariat was established in Buenos Aires, Argentina in September 2004 by the Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting (ATCM). The ATCM meets every year to consider measures according to the Antarctic Treaty. The Treaty deals with the area South of the Parallel 60. It is supplemented by the Environment Protocol. As service unit of the ATCM, the Secretariat is responsible for the documents and reports of the annual meetings. It also maintains the records of the ATCM, some of which you will find available online on this site.
