  • 2010 Alaska Weather Symposium

    The two-day symposium (March 9th 10th) to be held at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks will provide a forum for the exchange of operational and research information related to weather in the Alaskan environment. With participation from academic, research, government, military and private sectors, the primary areas of focus will be:

    From March 13-20, 2010, the Dissertations Initiative for the Advancement of Climate Change Research will connect both natural and social scientists engaged in research related to climate change, impacts and solutions at Saguaro Lake Ranch, Arizona. The goal is to broaden perspectives and establish a collegial peer network to address climate challenges at the interface of science and society.

  • AGU Chapman Conference on the Exploration and SAE

    15.03.2010 - 17.03.2010

    The AGU Chapman Conference on the Exploration and Study of Antarctic Subglacial Aquatic Environments (SAE) will be held March 15th - 17th in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

  • State of the Arctic Conference

    16.03.2010 - 19.03.2010

    The State of the Arctic Conference, to be held 16-19 March 2010 in Miami, Florida, will be an international meeting to present, exchange, and discuss the latest knowledge on the state of the Arctic and future directions of Arctic science and policy.

  • CAML Workshop on Southern Ocean Benthic Biodiversity and Distribution Patterns

    21.03.2010 - 25.03.2010

    This CAML workshop will be held in Wilhelmshaven, Germany from March 21st to March 25th, 2010. The aim of the workshop is to compare Southern Ocean biodiversity and distribution patterns and to assess some of the ecological and evolutionary processes which determine them.
